PAG Consultancy were instructed by a clients legal team to act as an Expert Witness in the defence of a High Court claim for damages by two farms claiming their fields had been contaminated with plastic resulting from the spreading of anaerobic digestate from our clients facility. 

An interesting legal case involving two neighbouring farms, a waste management company/land-spreading organisation and our client, the producer of the digestate.  The two farms claiming the anaerobic digestate, which had been spread on their fields, had contaminated their fields and the crops harvested from them.  PAG Consultancy provided expert opinion both on the alleged contamination of the soil in the fields and the requirements of our client in producing digestate for land application.  

Using the knowledge, and expertise of PAG Consultancy in both soil science and waste treatment procedures our client was able to vigorously defend the claim made against them, resulting in avoidance of the case needing to be heard in court.  This saved not only litigation costs but also potential adverse publicity,
